Over the last month we have set up a useful savings system. We no longer dispose of cooling water down the drain as we used to, but pump it out for reuse. As this is 3000 litres of water for each sterilisation cycle, when this water is heated from the cans to the boiling point, we also use the residual heat that tempers the large production hall.
